PURPOSE
As a Training Design Graduate, you will be an integral part of the SITA at Borders training team, contributing to the development and delivery of effective training programs. This entry-level position provides an opportunity for recent graduates to grow and learn within the dynamic aerospace and border management IT industry.
This role provides a supportive environment for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in training design within the aerospace and border management IT sector while working closely with a team of experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in Curriculum Development: Work alongside experienced training designers and trainers to contribute to the creation of training materials, including presentations, manuals, and multimedia content.
- Support Instructional Design: Learn and apply instructional design principles under the guidance of senior team members. Contribute to the development of engaging learning experiences using various methodologies.
- Technology Familiarity: Gain exposure to relevant technologies in aerospace IT and assist in incorporating them into training programs. Learn to use digital tools and platforms for training content development.
- Participate in Assessment Activities: Assist in the development and implementation of assessment strategies. Learn to evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and contribute to feedback mechanisms.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand training requirements and provide support in ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Adaptability: Develop adaptability by assisting in adjusting training materials to address changing business needs and industry trends within the aerospace IT sector.
- Professional Development: Engage in continuous learning and development activities to stay informed about best practices in training design and adult learning.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Aerospace and Border Management IT, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of airlines, aerospace, and IT concepts and technologies.
- Familiarity with instructional design and video editing software and eagerness to learn more.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS languages.
