Job Summary: As a Govt Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing sales activities related to government clients, tenders, and the Government e-Marketplace (GEM) portal. You will also work closely with a central government employees cooperative society, to promote and sell products and services to government institutions. This role requires a strong understanding of the government procurement process, tendering procedures, and the GEM portal.

Key Responsibilities

Govt Sales Account Manager:

נIdentify, approach, and build strong relationships with government departments, agencies, and institutions.

נUnderstand the unique needs and requirements of government clients and tailor sales pitches accordingly.

נPromote products and services to government clients and ensure regular follow-ups to achieve sales targets.

Tender Management

נMonitor and track government tenders and procurement opportunities relevant to the company's products and services.

נPrepare and submit comprehensive and competitive tender proposals within specified deadlines.

נCollaborate with the internal team to gather necessary information and documentation required for tender submissions.

Government E-Marketplace (GEM) Portal

נRegister and maintain the company's profile on the GEM portal to participate in online tenders.

נMonitor GEM portal notifications and participate in relevant e-tendering processes.

נEnsure compliance with GEM portal guidelines and regulations during the tendering process.

Sales Strategy and Reporting

נDevelop and implement a sales strategy to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue from governmentclients.

נKeep abreast of the latest market trends, competitor activities, and government policies that may impact sales.

נGenerate regular reports on sales performance, pipeline, and opportunities.
