Overview:
Infinity advertising is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Government Sales Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving sales within the government sector by leveraging their expertise in liaising, tender filling, and advertising. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong understanding of government procurement processes and a proven track record in the advertising industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the government sector.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key government officials and decision-makers.
- Meet and exceed sales targets through strategic planning and execution.
- Liaison and Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the agency and government clients.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between internal teams and government stakeholders.
- Ensure a high level of client satisfaction through regular updates, feedback collection, and issue resolution.
- Tender and Proposal Management:
- Monitor government tenders and RFPs (Requests for Proposals) relevant to the advertising industry.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive and competitive tender documents.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements in the tender process.
- Advertising Strategy and Execution:
- Work closely with the creative and media teams to develop tailored advertising solutions for government clients.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on an understanding of government policies, objectives, and audience needs.
- Oversee the execution of advertising campaigns to ensure they meet client expectations and deliver desired outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 8 years focused on government sales and advertising.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proven experience in liaising with government officials and agencies.
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes, tender filling, and RFP submissions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of advertising strategies, media planning, and campaign execution.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in an advertising agency or related industry.
- Established network of contacts within government departments and agencies.
