Role Overview: The Government Engagement Lead will play a key role within the Project Managementn
nUnit (PMU) in the State. This position will be responsible for fostering strong relationships withn
ngovernment stakeholders, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the Education Department'sn
npolicies, schemes, and initiatives and ensuring alignment between the organization's program and then
nState's Open School Program objectives.n

In this role, you will be responsible for:n

Government Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain positive relationships with keyn

stakeholders within the State Education Department, including officials, policymakers, andn

program managers.n

Program Alignment: Ensure alignment between the organization's program and the State'sn

Open School Program objectives, collaborating with government counterparts to identify areasn

of synergy and opportunities for collaboration.n

Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of strategic plans and initiatives within then

PMU, incorporating government priorities and objectives into program design andn

implementation. Plan for Government Schemes convergence for open schools fee waiver.n

Government Reporting: Prepare regular reports and updates on program activities,n

achievements, and challenges for government stakeholders, ensuring transparency andn

accountability in program implementation.n

Capacity Building: Provide training and capacity-building support to government staff andn

partners involved in program implementation, fostering a shared understanding of programn

goals and strategies.n

Monitoring and Evaluation: Collaborate with government counterparts to establish monitoringn

and evaluation mechanisms to track program progress and outcomes, facilitating data-drivenn

decision-making.n

Collaboration and Networking: Represent the organization in government meetings,n

workshops, and other forums, fostering collaboration and networking opportunities withn

relevant stakeholders.n

Apply if you have:n

Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science or a related field. Master's degreen
npreferred.n

Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in roles related to government relations policyn

comprehension, operations in underserved areas of Maharashtra, and providing support in then

implementation of educational strategies.n

Fluency in Hindi and proficiency in English, Marathi preferred.n
