We are seeking a talented and experienced Google Vertex AI Search Developer/Architect to join our dynamic AI team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced search solutions using Google Vertex AI platform technologies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient search capabilities that drive business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust search architectures using Google Vertex AI platform components.
- Develop and optimize search models, pipelines, and workflows for efficient data retrieval and relevance ranking.
- Utilize Google Vertex AI AutoML capabilities to build custom search models for specific use cases.
- Integrate search functionalities into existing applications and systems, ensuring seamless user experiences.
- Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders to understand search requirements and deliver solutions accordingly.
- Implement best practices for data indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning within the Google Vertex AI framework.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging technologies and techniques to enhance search capabilities and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 6+ years of experience in AI/ ML Technologies.
- Proven experience working with Google Vertex AI services.
- Strong proficiency in developing and deploying machine learning models using Google Vertex AI tools and APIs.
- Solid understanding of search technologies, information retrieval, and relevance ranking algorithms.
- Hands-on experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and text analytics for search applications.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar for building scalable applications.
- Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business terms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer or Machine Learning Engineer certification.
- Experience with other AI platforms and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
