We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer/Cloud Engineer to collaborate with our Software Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform with Terraform and Kubernetes. Proficiency with other cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS is also appreciated. We value candidates who are keen to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related field.
Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform and infrastructure as code using Terraform.
Proven capability in configuring, deploying, securing, and monitoring containerized workloads on Kubernetes.
Expertise in building and troubleshooting container technologies.
Proficiency in Python or Go programming languages.
Strong understanding of CS fundamentals, Linux operating systems, and common GNU/Linux tools.
Lead efforts to establish best practices within the Site Reliability Engineering team and shape the SRE culture within our organization.
Develop, scale, and improve our Google Cloud infrastructure to meet the needs of our applications and services.
Collaborate closely with Software Engineers to deploy applications optimally, ensuring they are scaled appropriately whether through serverless solutions or Kubernetes.
Enhance security and monitoring of Kubernetes clusters, containers, and other cloud resources.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changes while maintaining focus on simple, maintainable, and effective solutions.
Independently contribute to the development of new features that drive revenue and reduce costs, while also discovering and implementing your innovations.
Mentor team members and promote continuous learning and improvement.
Utilize statistical analysis to improve system performance and reliability
