Job Title: General Manager - Human Resources

Location: Gurgaon, India

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic General Manager (GM) - Human Resources to lead our HR function in India. This role is crucial in driving the HR strategy, fostering a high-performance culture, and supporting the business objectives in a rapidly evolving automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Leadership:

  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company's business goals.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the senior leadership team, providing insights and recommendations on HR-related matters.

Talent Acquisition and Management:

  • Lead the recruitment process to attract, hire, and retain top talent.
  • Implement effective talent management and succession planning processes.

Performance Management:

  • Oversee the performance management system, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Drive initiatives for continuous performance improvement.

Learning and Development:

  • Design and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Employee Engagement and Relations:

  • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Address employee concerns and grievances, ensuring high levels of employee satisfaction and engagement.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Compliance and Policies:

  • Ensure compliance with all HR-related legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures.

Change Management and Organizational Development:

  • Lead change management initiatives to support business transformation.
  • Implement organizational development strategies to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Desired Profile:

  • Education: MBA in HR or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role within the automotive industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of HR practices, talent management, performance management, and change management.
  • Attributes: Proactive, result-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Location: Must be willing to work in Gurgaon.
