The Global Service Manager, CMDB & DQM, Service Support, Technology is accountable for supporting all Technical and Service Level support related in maintaining consistent CMDB

Major Accountabilities

  • Own CMDB and be accountable for its consistency
  • Process owner for implementing, populating Consistent Data and maintaining the life cycle of CMDB
  • Ensure all functionalities and integration points for CMDB update are working in tandem
  • Brings about SIP involving automation that validates and updates the changes in the CMDB data consistent to changes in the Enterprise
  • Responsible for governance related to CMDB including reporting, compliance and availability
  • Performs Root Cause Analysis for any inconsistency introduced and work to correct the source for future usage
  • Implement the Enterprise-wide standards in the Data
  • Maintain referential integrity with Data coming from multiple sources
  • Interlock with all stakeholders to introduce error free integration of data coming from multiple sources
  • Proactively manage incident performance across the board to ensure SLAs and KPIs are achieved
  • Identify, establish, and implement key ITIL Practices within the scope of the CMDB
  • Support and ensure compliance to defined IT Governance controls, standards, and practices.

Minimum Requirements

Work Experience:

  • Significant of IT experience in operations and system management
  • In-depth experience in Service Management, preferably leveraging ServiceNow
  • Setup and implementation of global processes in similar areas as above, across geographies and business areas.
  • Experience in managing CMDB for a large and complex enterprise
  • Skills in Discovery Tool and its integration with Ticketing Tool and its usage
  • Should be aware of common sources of information like SCCM etc
  • IT Service Management Practices (preferred ITIL Managing Professional)
  • Compliance, Risk Management (GxP: sound knowledge of validation practice and IT control standards
  • Experience in reporting to technical and non-technical organizations
  • Experience in waste reduction through process improvement and automation
