Job Description

We are looking for results-driven Front-Line Sales Professional with a strong background in selling engineering services to international clients. This role will focus on driving revenue growth, building relationships, and acquiring new business within target markets in Europe & North America. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, managing client relationships, and closing deals across a range of engineering solutions.

Considering Candidates with strong experience in Engineering services sales in our related business areas.

Candidates with experience in Metals / Mining / Power / Hydrocarbon / Oil & Gas in Engineering Services preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Drive international sales growth by identifying, prospecting, and engaging new clients in key global markets.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies tailored to client needs, market conditions, and company goals.
  • Understand client business requirements and work closely with internal teams to propose engineering solutions.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, executives, and influencers within target client organizations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term partnerships.
  • Regularly communicate project progress and technical updates to clients, ensuring all expectations are met.

Lead Generation & Opportunity Management

  • Identify new leads and business opportunities through market research, networking, cold calling, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Qualify leads to determine the potential for long-term business and convert them into paying customers.
  • Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate and timely sales data, ensuring proper tracking of opportunities and pipeline management.

Proposal Development & Negotiations

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop customized proposals, technical presentations, and cost estimates.
  • Lead negotiation processes, including contract terms, pricing, and project timelines.
  • Close deals while ensuring profitability and alignment with company goals.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis

  • Stay informed of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams to inform service offerings and marketing strategies.

Sales Reporting & Performance Metrics

  • Regularly report on sales performance, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Participate in sales meetings, strategy sessions, and training workshops to continuously improve sales skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 10-15 years of experience in B2B Engineering sales, with a proven track record of success in selling engineering services.
  • Experience selling internationally, with knowledge of global markets and cultural sensitivities.
  • Strong understanding of the engineering services industry and technical sales processes.

Education

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience). Post Graduate preferred.

Skills

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Language Skills

  • Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in additional languages (German, French, etc.) is a plus.
