Role Overview: We are seeking an exceptional Sales Director to spearhead our global sales efforts from India. This role will focus on driving growth for our AI-driven SaaS products. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence, achieving revenue targets, and contributing to our company's success. Eventually, this role will also hire and manage a high-performing sales team globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and execute innovative global sales strategies that drive growth in the L&D and recruiting sectors.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align global sales initiatives with the companys strategic goals.
  • Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activities to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
  • Sales Management:
  • Lead and mentor a global sales team, setting ambitious targets and providing guidance to achieve them.
  • Foster a high-energy, results-driven sales environment with a focus on performance and development.
  • Implement best practices and sales methodologies to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Market Expansion:
  • Identify and pursue strategic business opportunities in both established and new international markets.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Tailor sales strategies to address regional market needs and drive penetration.
  • Customer Engagement:
  • Ensure the sales team delivers exceptional value to customers, enhancing satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team to ensure seamless onboarding and continued client success.
  • Sales Operations:
  • Optimize sales processes, tools, and technologies to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Oversee the preparation of compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
  • Manage sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting with precision.
  • Collaboration:
  • Partner with Marketing to design and execute global campaigns that support sales objectives.
  • Work closely with Product Management to relay market feedback and influence product development.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
  • Track and analyze global sales performance, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular updates and strategic insights to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • 8-10 years of SaaS sales experience, with a strong focus on L&D and recruiting software.
  • Proven success in managing global sales teams and driving substantial revenue growth.
  • Experience in a high-paced startup environment is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Deep understanding of the L&D and recruiting software landscape.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
  • Education:
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to key customer locations.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a global team.
