What is the job about
As a Global Pricing Consultant, you will be in charge of developing and implementing comprehensive pricing strategies in a variety of foreign markets. A very close collaboration with Sales and Product Management Departments to ensure that the Industry Division is reaching the growth targets through sustainable Pricing Activities
Key Accountabilities
Specifically, you will work to:
Strategic Market Insights:
- Conduct extensive worldwide market assessments to identify upcoming trends and customer behaviours.
- Convert market findings into concrete plans to strengthen our competitive position.
Competitor Intelligence:
- Evaluate and critique rival pricing methods to inform our own market positioning. (How do we know Rival's pricing methods)
- Create proactive strategies to preserve our market leadership while improving profitability.
Navigating the Economic Landscape:
- Observe and evaluate global economic trends that influence pricing decisions.
- Forecast future repercussions and offer changes to pricing arrangements.
Pricing Innovation:
- Work fluidly with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize global pricing strategies.
- Develop and deploy creative pricing models that are in sync with changing market conditions.
Use of Advanced Analytics:
- Leverage cutting-edge analytics techniques to extract relevant insights from large datasets.
- Create and implement advanced pricing models to maximize revenue and market expansion. High advanced skills in using advanced analytics in Excel & Power BI and other related tools.
Pricing Policies and Processes
- Define the relevant pricing processes that will lead the people to create pricing adjustments.
- Create and maintain the organization's pricing policies and procedures.
- Ensure that pricing procedures adhere to legal and ethical guidelines.
Performance Monitoring:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of pricing strategies.
- Regularly review and report on pricing performance, adjusting as necessary.
Your background
- Bachelor's in economics, science or engineering combined with minimum 8 years of relevant experience in similar role
- Skilful in the ERP (SAP, BW) or software such as Excel, Python. Power PI.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and other languages a plus
