Team Overview
KKR's Global Market Operations team is comprised of the Client Operations, Treasury, Private Market Operations, Global Data Operations, and Global Investment Operations teams. Overall, the Global Market Operations team is responsible for ensuring compliance and best practices for treasury activities, implementation of technology for process improvements, and identifying value creation opportunities. The team also liaises with clients, internal stakeholders, and team members to effectively and accurately communicate relevant issues and solutions.
Position Summary
The role is responsible for managing data in the KKR third party data ecosystem. They will be part of KKR's enterprise data group which collects, manages, and harnesses the power of data across our diverse categories of data. They will play a crucial role in supporting finance and operations and acting as the first line of defense to troubleshoot, debug, and fix pipelines based on standard operating procedures. They will work collaboratively across the firm to set standards & best practices while providing the operating leverage to centrally support the roll-out/ execution of these frameworks.
Roles & Responsibilities
Operational Excellence
- Understand, monitor and troubleshoot ingestion of data from multiple third-party sources into the KKR environment.
- Uphold consistent, accurate, and comprehensive records concerning the execution history, root cause analysis, postmortem analysis in the event of issues.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for addressing specific failures.
- Execute and oversee ad hoc data/support related tasks within designated timelines.
- Decent understanding in Python/SQL is advantageous
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with engineering and IT to support and make recommendations for enhanced support & troubleshooting
- Communicate and work closely with relevant teams to close infrastructure issues in a clear and timely manner
- Serve as point of contact for support-related questions and updates from various internal and external groups, delivering ad-hoc analytics to answer key
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required
- 1-3 years of support, monitoring experience is required
- Experience in a multinational Financial Services organization and/or Private Equity preferred
- Ability to manage standard reports, templates & dashboard.
- Ability to adhere to the compliance requirements of processes
- Ability to develop and enhance data protection and management tools or applications
- Ability to design and execute data management focusing on data governance and data quality activities.
- Systems/ Tools/ Application knowledge:
- Support & Monitoring toolsProficiency in data operations and data management
- Proficiency in Excel
- Decent SQL skills
- Experience with Python is a plus
