nJob Summary:

nWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Global Head of Taxation to lead our global tax function, providing expert guidance and oversight on all tax-related matters. The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of international tax laws, transfer pricing regulations, and practices, with the ability to drive tax strategy, risk management, and compliance across the organization.

nKey Responsibilities:

• nDevelop and implement global tax strategy, aligning with business objectives.
• nLead and manage a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and oversight.
• nEnsure compliance with tax laws, regulations, and filing requirements worldwide.
• nManage effective tax rate of the group through efficient tax planning
• nManage tax risk, including transfer pricing, dispute resolution, and controversy.
• nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations.
• nProvide expert advice on tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
• nStay up-to-date with changing tax laws, regulations, and industry trends.
• nDevelop and maintain relationships with local finance controllers in each operating jurisdictions and tax advisors.
• nOversee tax planning, provisioning, and reporting, including financial statement disclosure.

• nDrive process improvements and efficiency in tax operations.

nRequirements:

• nShould be a Chartered Accountant having minimum post qualification experience of -15 to 20 years in taxation field with 5+ years in a leadership role.

• nStrong understanding of international tax laws, regulations, and practices.
• nProven experience in tax strategy, risk management, and compliance.
• nExcellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• nAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• nExperience within the media and entertainment sector is highly advantageous.
