Job Summary
The Global Compensation & Benefits Analyst is responsible for executing global compensation and benefits strategy outside of the US and Canada, specifically focused on but not limited to India, El Salvador, Germany and the UK. Responsibilities include salary survey participation, annual compensation benchmarking, salary administration program review and analysis, maintenance of the salary structures, job market pricing and evaluation, contributing to the design and implementation of the compensation strategy, and preparation of educational materials.
Essential Duties
Supports the Global Compensation and Benefits Manager by:
- Designing and implementing compensation and benefits programs in alignment with global standards, regional regulations and consistent with the enterprise strategy.
- Conduct market research and analysis to ensure competitiveness of compensation packages and benefit offerings.
- Collaborate across the talent organization to develop and implement strategies for attracting and retaining top talent.
- Manage compensation processes including salary benchmarking, annual salary reviews and incentive programs.
- Analyze employee data and trends to provide insights for decision-making and optimization of compensation and benefit strategies.
- Partner with council and Employee Relations to ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
- Partner with finance and payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of compensation-related transactions.
- Provide accurate and effective communication resources to support the talent organization and business leaders provide guidance to employees regarding compensation and benefit inquiries.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve compensation and benefit programs.
- Supports Talent Operations team with escalated compensation and benefit inquiries and help to provide best practices.
- Partners with Knowledge Management team to develop and update knowledge documents related to global compensation and benefits.
- Serves as primary contact with plan vendors and third-party administrators.
Well versed in all applicable market practices for leave and partners with Talent Operations team to inform best practices related to leave administration and ensure market competitiveness of leave and time off programs.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
Required:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Preferred:
- MSW or master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields
Relevant Certifications such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP)
TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS
Required:
- Knowledge of Indian labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits
- Needs to be an advanced user of MS Excel
- Proficiency with MS PowerPoint and Word
Preferred:
Knowledge of Workday
EXPERIENCE
Required:
3+ years of experience in Compensation and Benefits preferably in a global company
LEADERSHIP SKILLS
Required:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all stakeholders
- Ability to meet project deadlines.
