Divisional Overview
The Investment Banking team strives to provide best-in-class advice and execution excellence on complex transactions across mergers and acquisitions and financing (including equity offerings, debt issuances and derivative transactions)
Team Overview
The Management and Strategy team is a key part of the Investment Banking which is responsible for providing financial analysis, management reporting and other ad hoc analysis to the senior divisional leadership.
Duties
- Processing expenses and invoices related to different costs the IB division incurs, including
- Legal related invoices,
- Flights, hotels, client servicing
- Consultant expenses
- Invoices from external vendors
- Work on and familiarize oneself with in-house systems for invoice submission, approvals, and processing
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to process such expenses and invoices
- Adhering to Compliance regulations and gaining the relevant approvals
- Act as an integral member of the team; maintaining a high level of awareness of current priorities and support required
- Regularly facilitate knowledge sharing within the team and ensure relevant information is disseminated accordingly
- Arranging travel; organizing and providing detailed travel schedules for employees
- General team admin including photocopying, printing, attendance tracking, phone answering and relaying messages
- Flexibility to support assistant colleagues and cover when necessary
Skills & Experience Required
- Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills
- Able to prioritize a variety of time-sensitive tasks
- Demonstrates dependability and high attention to detail along with the ability to multi-task
- Displays a consistent, professional degree of communication skills in person, on phone and by e-mail to senior level executives
- Comfortable working with people at all organizational levels, internally and externally
- Must be a team player that works well under pressure within a changing environment
- Flexible and adaptable to work and support across multiple teams
- Be resourceful and able to use own initiative in solving issues
- Proactive attitude when managing diaries and workload
- Discretion to deal with confidential business matters
- Fluent English
