GIS Developer

Position Title: GIS Developer

• Location: Jaipur

• Exp : 4-6 years

• Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain GIS applications and tools to support various projects within the organization.

• Design, implement, and optimize geospatial databases and data models.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GIS functionality into existing systems and workflows.

• Analyze spatial data and provide insights to support decision-making processes.

Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in GIS and recommend innovative solutions to enhance our capabilities.

• Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proven experience 4-6 years in GIS development and spatial analysis.

Proficiency in GIS software such as Esri ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms.

• Proficiency in frontend map library.

Strong programming skills in languages commonly used in GIS development, such as JavaScript, Angular.

• Experience with geodatabases (e.g., PostgreSQL/PostGIS) and spatial data formats (e.g., Shapefile, GeoJSON, KML).

Familiarity with web mapping technologies (e.g., Leaflet, OpenLayers) and APIs (e.g., ArcGIS REST API, Google Maps API).

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques is a plus.
