Role
The GIS Specialist/Data Engineer at Neuralix.ai will be a crucial part of our dynamic team and play a key role in developing and implementing geospatial solutions for our AI-powered applications. You will leverage your expertise in both GIS and data engineering to integrate advanced spatial analysis and visualization capabilities into our AI algorithms and products.
Key Responsibilities
Utilize expertise in Geoserver, GRASS, QGIS, and ArcGIS to analyze spatial data and derive actionable insights.
Design, develop, and maintain geospatial data pipelines and ETL processes to support AI-driven applications.
Integrate spatial data sources and APIs into our data infrastructure and AI models.
Conduct network analysis and spatial optimization using advanced GIS techniques.
Work with PostGIS and PostgreSQL to manage geospatial databases and optimize spatial queries.
Leverage Python and Javascript for geospatial data processing, analysis, and visualization.
Design and implement geospatial visualization solutions using tools like Deck.gl and kepler.gl.
Apply statistical techniques to analyze and interpret geospatial data effectively.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
Minimum 4-6 years (or equivalent) of experience in GIS, with a focus on designing and building geospatial data pipelines, geospatial databases, and analytical solutions.
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL. Experience with AWS is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions in a consulting or client-facing role.
Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and database technologies (relational and NoSQL databases).
