Key responsibilities
- Proficiently translate written documents from German to English and vice versa
- Interpret verbal communication between German and English speakers during meetings or conferences
- Proofread and edit translated materials to ensure accuracy and cultural relevance
- Research and stay updated on German language usage, idioms, and cultural nuances
- Conduct language and cultural training for employees working with German-speaking clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate multilingual communication and understanding
- Participate in cross-functional projects requiring German language expertise
- Serve as a language resource for German-speaking clients and partners
- Assist in localization of marketing materials and product documentation for the German market

Required Qualifications
- Native or near-native proficiency in German and English languages
- Bachelor's degree in German language, linguistics, translation, or a related field
- Proven experience as a German language expert, translator, or interpreter
- Certification or professional training in translation or interpretation is a plus
- Solid understanding of German grammar, syntax, and vocabulary
