Position Summary
ALLDATA is seeking Systems Engineer to join our Product development team. We are on a journey to expand our Digital Product to Europe along with North America. This position is responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of ALLDATAs online Products. Additionally, these systems will need coordination across US and Mexico development teams, in addition to working closely with business users in Europe and North America. Candidate is expected to have good communication skills in global setup and responsible for end to end EPICs and user story delivery in Agile methodology. This includes applying domain knowledge,using technical skills, leading, and mentoring less experienced AutoZoners, supporting the customers, resolving problems, and training as required.
Key Responsibilties
- Create, test and support software applications
- Participate in design sessions with IT Architects and produce high- and low-level designs as necessary
- Collaborate with other engineers in the team to deliver new capabilities. Coach and mentor other team members as needed
- Quickly and effectively troubleshoot problems in development and production environments
- Responsible for others accurate work planning and execution, accurate project time tracking
- Review code and designs from other team members
- Provide suggestions on performance improvements of existing platform
- Coordinate with product owners and business partners to gather requirements and document them as needed
- Able to perform tasks with little or no technical supervision with solid problem solving, domain technical and analytical skills
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field.
- Typically requires 6 to 12 years of experience based on consistently demonstrated capabilities.
- 4 to 8 years of experience and expertise in data science and Generative AI with hands-on experience
- Python or Java (5+ years)
- Creating models: Using machine learning and AI to create models that can generate new content, such as text, audio, images, or videos
- Optimizing: Optimizing model performance
- Researching: Researching and implementing algorithms and architectures
- Able to perform tasks with little or no technical supervision
- Experience using Relational Databases (ex. Oracle/Informix/SQL Server etc.) and writing SQL queries
- Must be a team player with great interpersonal and communication skills; time-management skills are critical
- Advanced expertise in at least one technical area
Nice to Have
- Exposure to non-SQL database like Mongo DB
- Any search engine experience (especially Elasticsearch)
- Experience in Apache/Ignite technology like Apache Tomcat
- Experience working on GCP Cloud and APIGEE is a definite plus and good to have skill
- Experience in Deep learning domain of ML
