Job Summary:
As the General Manager of Food & Beverage in the Hospitality & Banqueting sector, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our F&B operations. This includes leading a dynamic team of 70-80 individuals, ensuring the highest standards of service, and contributing to the overall success of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in F&B management, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Leadership and Team Management:
Provide strong leadership to the F&B team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure a high level of competence and efficiency.
Effectively manage a diverse team of 70-80 individuals, including but not limited to chefs, servers, bartenders, and support staff.
2.Operational Excellence:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the F&B department, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Implement and enforce standard operating procedures to maintain high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
Monitor and analyze performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
3.Guest Experience:
Uphold and enhance the reputation of the establishment by delivering an exceptional and memorable dining experience.
Address customer feedback and concerns promptly and effectively.
4.Financial Management:
Develop and manage budgets, controlling costs without compromising service quality.
Implement strategies to maximize revenue, such as upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
5.Vendor Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of F&B supplies.
6.Compliance and Safety:
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and licensing requirements.
Implement and enforce hygiene and sanitation standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Food & Beverage Management within the hospitality and banqueting sector.
Proven ability to lead and manage a team of 70-80 people.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of F&B trends, industry best practices, and local market dynamics.
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
