Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of Leisurely Stays & Experiences. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing and leading all aspects of the company's operations, including guest services, property management, business development, and team management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of a rapidly emerging player in the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Function as the primary strategic leader of the company, overseeing all aspects of the operation to meet or exceed guest expectations, enhance profitability, and achieve company goals.

Brand Advocate: Verify the implementation of Leisurely Stay's service strategy and brand initiatives, aligning them with the objective of delivering a world-class leisurely stay experience. Champion and communicate the brand values and goals to the team.

Business Strategy Development: Stay updated with industry trends, explore new business opportunities, and develop plans to maximize customer satisfaction, profitability, and market share.

Business Strategy Execution: Execute business plans designed to enhance customer satisfaction and profitability, holding the leadership team accountable for successful plan delivery. Continuously evaluate and enhance business strategies for improved company performance.

Sales and Marketing: Collaborate closely with the Sales and Marketing team to develop revenue-generating strategies. Identify new business opportunities, develop tailored sales approaches, and ensure effective execution of sales and marketing strategies.

Team Leadership: Create a high-performance leadership team that strives for positive results and improvement. Coach and develop the team, creating learning and development opportunities for employees.

Talent Management: Create and execute development plans for direct reports, identify resource needs, and establish succession plans. Support the staffing process to strengthen the company team. Ensure effective work processes and teamwork are in place for optimal performance.

Customer and Public Relations: Actively interact with customers, obtain feedback, and emphasize service excellence. Establish a strong presence in the market, develop strategic alliances with local entities, and engage with the community to promote the company and brand.

Policy and Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and company standards. Conduct quality assurance audits and hold employees accountable for maintaining the company's high standards.

Qualifications

2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major; with 8 years of experience in management operations, sales and marketing, finance, or a related professional area.

OR

4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major; with 6 years of experience in management operations, sales and marketing, finance, or a related professional area.

Preferred

Previous experience as a General Manager in a leisure accommodations company.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and late nights.

A track record of progressive career growth and exceptional performance in the leisure accommodations industry.
