Role Overview:The General Manager of Sales & Marketing will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and implementing marketing strategies, and leading a high-performing sales team. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong sales background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them.
- Analyze market trends and competitors to inform sales strategies.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Recruit, train, and develop high-performing sales professionals.
- Foster a positive and results-driven team culture.
- Marketing Strategy and Implementation:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement comprehensive marketing campaigns.
- Oversee branding, advertising, and promotional activities to enhance the company's market presence.
- Ensure alignment between sales and marketing efforts to maximize results.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and timely communication.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and issues effectively.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making and optimize sales processes.
- Implement performance improvement strategies where necessary.
Qualifications:- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in Banking, Insurance, Hospitality, Telecom, or Real Estate.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and leading high-performing teams.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and market trends.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
