Screening Criteria

• Experience in the Sugar or Distillery industry.
• Strong background in molasses and grain spirit production with expertise in ENA production processes.

Job Overview:

• Oversee the operation of the Molasses Spirit Plant (MSP), ensuring high-quality ENA production and monitoring of the DM plant operations.
• Develop and manage budgets for consumables, materials, and spares for ENA production and maintenance.
• Monitor plant efficiency and reduce losses in spent wash, leese, and vent; oversee cooling tower water quality.
• Manage raw material handling, storage, and usage.
• Control laboratory analysis for raw materials and finished products, maintaining quality control practices.
• Conduct sensory testing of ENA from MSP and GSP lines, collaborating with the Quality Assurance Committee.
• Enforce zero-discharge norms by recycling air blower water, spent leese, and vacuum water.
• Ensure compliance with production plans approved by the Excise Department.
• Maintain accurate daily reporting related to processes, raw materials, products, and excise requirements.
• Drive improvements in plant performance and implement cost-saving methods and systems.
• Liaise with Excise and MIDC for smooth operations and participate in vendor and contractor negotiations.
