• Position Overview:

We are currently looking for a highly experienced and skilled candidate for the profile of General Manager to oversee our Gas Meter manufacturing plant operations. The candidate will have a solid background in plant management, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience as a GM/ Plant Head.

• Responsibilities & Key Result Areas:

Overall responsibility for plant running, operations management and quality.

Experience in EMS and automatic equipment.

Experience in handling metrological equipment.

Ensure final product meets/exceeds international quality standards.

Overall responsibility for production and dispatch management.

Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing Practises.

Manpower and Production planning.

Work on Over Line Efficiency, and Equipment Efficiency in line with production and delivery plans.

Authorise maintenance plans, and validate the requirements of critical spares as necessary

Manage and coordinate with all departments to ensure highest uptime for the factory.

Prepare and Present MIS in Review Meetings.

Organise safety, and plant related trainings and drills.

• Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of EN1359 and OIML standards.

Experience in meter manufacturing or automotive.

MBA with manufacturing experience.

Knowledge of Factories Act, Central and State Govt rules.

Should have Strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.

Must have excellent analytical ability.
