We are seeking a General Manager to oversee and optimize the daily operations of the Life Transformation Centre. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in operational management, passionate about our mission, and capable of driving efficiency and excellence across all facets of our organization. They will work closely with the Academic Dean (or Associate Dean) to ensure seamless planning and execution of all programs and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve the LTC's goals and objectives.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effective management of resources in accordance with the organogram.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team (as per the organogram), fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Program Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with the Associate Dean- LTC to plan and execute programs based on the five-fold philosophy (panchakosha) Agriculture and Nutrition, Physical Fitness and Vitality, Patriotism, Team Building and Leadership, and Spirituality.
- Ensure that programs are delivered effectively, meeting the LTC's standards and objectives.
- Monitor program performance and outcomes, making data-driven decisions to enhance program effectiveness.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the operational budget in collaboration with the Associate Dean-LTC, Farm manager, CFO, and management.
- Oversee financial processes including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting in collaboration with the Dean.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and optimize financial performance.
Facility Management:
- Ensure the LTC facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
- Oversee safety and security protocols, ensuring a safe environment for staff and participants.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community partners, contributors, and participants.
- Represent the Centre at public events and community meetings.
Strategic Planning:
- Contribute to the strategic planning process, aligning operational activities with the LTC's long-term vision.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and impact.
Requirements
- Ex Serviceperson
- More than 7 years relevant experience in senior management positions.
