- Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of our resorts. The General Manager will be responsible for leading a team of department heads and staff to ensure the highest standards of guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry.
Provide strategic leadership and direction to the management team and staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Oversee all aspects of resort operations, including guest services, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and administrative functions.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards to uphold the company's reputation for excellence in service and hospitality.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational efficiency and identify opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with department heads to develop annual operating budgets and financial forecasts and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with guests, vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to enhance the resort's reputation and drive repeat business.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and licensing requirements, including health and safety standards.
Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities, and recommend strategic initiatives to maintain our competitive edge.
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven track record of at least 10-15 years in progressively responsible roles within the hospitality industry, with at least 3-5 years of experience in a senior management position.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve high levels of performance and guest satisfaction.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with guests, employees, and stakeholders.
Solid understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a focus on finding creative solutions to complex operational challenges.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and industry-specific software applications.
Certification from relevant hospitality associations is a plus.
