Qualification- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
Salary- Up to 8.4 LPA (Depending upon experience and interview performance)
Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our organization as the General Manager of Quality and Research & Development for Plastic Compounding. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our plastic compounding processes, as well as driving innovation and continuous improvement in our research and development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Management:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management system to ensure adherence to industry standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the establishment and maintenance of quality control processes throughout the plastic compounding operations.
- Lead quality audits, monitor key performance indicators, and implement corrective actions to enhance overall product quality.
Research & Development:
- Drive the development and execution of a strategic R&D roadmap that aligns with organizational goals and market trends.
- Lead a cross-functional R&D team to create innovative plastic compounds that meet customer requirements and market demands.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to ensure successful commercialization of new products.
Process Optimization:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvement within the plastic compounding operations.
- Implement best practices and technological advancements to enhance productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure seamless integration of quality and process improvements.
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of quality and R&D professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture that encourages creativity, problem-solving, and continuous learning.
- Provide guidance and support to the team to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
Customer Collaboration:
- Engage with customers to understand their requirements and expectations regarding product quality and innovation.
- Establish strong relationships with key customers, addressing their concerns and feedback to enhance overall satisfaction.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay current with industry regulations and standards related to plastic compounding.
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality and environmental regulations, working closely with regulatory affairs teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the plastic compounding industry.
- Strong background in quality management, process optimization, and R&D.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and driving innovation.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards for plastic compounding.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
