General Corporate & M&A Counsel

Looking to connect with professionals between 4-7 years of experience for an interesting opportunity with a fintech company in Mumbai. The professional must be adept in general corporate transactions, mergers and acquisition and private equity matters.

Responsibilities

Will be the SPOC for various business functions of the organization.

Provide legal advice and support on general corporate law matters to internal stakeholders- group wide.

Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including commercial agreements, vendor agreements, service agreements and licensing agreements, fund documents, regulatory licenses, lending documents, lending partnership agreements, structured finance documents, brokerage agreements.

Assist in due diligence activities for mergers and acquisitions, including conducting legal research, reviewing documentation, and preparing reports.

Advise all group companies on corporate governance matters and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in corporate law and regulations. - Assist in the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, human resources, product, technology, data, business, sales, marketing and operations, to ensure legal compliance and provide guidance on legal matters.

Work on intellectual property and data protection law project

This is an immediate requirement. Someone who can join in 30 days or lesser will be preferred.
