Summary of the role:

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative individual to join our team as a Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) Educator. The educator will be responsible for teaching Gen AI concepts, including the creation of basic applications, to equip students with practical skills in this rapidly evolving field, and curating curriculum content for students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Gen AI concepts in a classroom setting, utilizing effective pedagogical techniques to engage and inspire students
• Provide guidance and support to students as they explore and develop basic AI applications, fostering a hands-on learning experience.
• Create engaging and interactive learning materials, including presentations, handouts, quizzes, and projects, to facilitate student understanding of Gen AI concepts.
• Stay updated with the latest developments and trends in artificial intelligence and machine learning to ensure curriculum content remains current and relevant.
• Collaborate with other educators and subject matter experts to incorporate diverse perspectives and interdisciplinary approaches into the curriculum.
• Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and projects, providing constructive feedback to facilitate learning outcomes.
• Develop and design curriculum content for a certificate course in Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) targeted at college and university students.
• Mentor and advise students on career paths and opportunities in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
• Participate in professional development activities, events, and conferences to enhance teaching skills and stay abreast of best practices in AI education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field

• Good programming skills in Python

• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and libraries

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Great teaching capabilities to spread the love for math, data, and AI

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work independently and take initiative when necessary.
