Job Overview:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage the design process from concept to final product, conduct market research, and collaborate on seasonal themes. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, along with 2-3 years of experience in women's woven wear, is required. A strong understanding of sourcing, fabrics, construction, and production processes is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the design process from conception to final styling.

Conduct market research to identify trends, fabrics, and techniques.

Collaborate with team members on seasonal themes and new concepts.

Ensure products align with business strategy.

Select fabrics, trims, and create production sketches/CADs.

Work with technical designers to ensure accurate development packages.

Review products for style and fit during presentations.

Present story, mood, color boards, and samples to buyers.

Forecast fashion trends and stay updated with market developments.

Create detailed sketches and illustrations using Adobe Illustrator.

Plan and develop ranges, including new embroidery and fabric sourcing.

Oversee the design process and conduct fittings, making necessary adjustments.

Ensure quality in production.

Knowledge of testing and costing is required.

Desired Profile:

2-3 years of experience in women's woven wear fashion design.

Excellent understanding of different qualities of fabrics, garment construction, and production processes.

Strong skills in embroideries, beading, and fashion design.

Detail-oriented with a creative and innovative mindset.

Ability to create prints, artwork, and designs aligned with current trends.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
