Job Summary:

The GARM Developer will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our custom .NET tool, GARM (Global Analytics and Risk Management), designed specifically for an integrated oil and gas company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in .NET development, with a focus on building secure, scalable, and efficient applications. You will work closely with our IT team and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement features and functionalities for the GARM tool using .NET framework.
• Collaborate with IT analysts and project managers to define system requirements and deliverables.
• Ensure the application's performance, quality, and responsiveness by identifying bottlenecks and bugs, and devising solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
• Maintain code integrity and organization, including code reviews and version control.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in .NET development and risk management solutions.
• Provide technical support and training to users, addressing any issues related to the GARM tool.
• Work closely with the security team to ensure the application adheres to all relevant security protocols and guidelines.
• Document all phases of the development process, from initial design to deployment and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer, with a strong portfolio of projects.
• Familiarity with the .NET framework, SQL Server, and design/architectural patterns (e.g., Model-View-Controller (MVC)).
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, such as Agile/Scrum.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Knowledge of concurrency patterns in C#.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud services is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
