We seek an experienced Unity Developer to join our gaming company in Kochi, Kerala. The ideal candidate will have over four years of experience in game development, preferably with a background in gaming studios. This role requires a strong understanding of the Unity platform and a passion for creating immersive gaming experiences.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and developers to create engaging game titles.
- Plan, design, and implement high-quality game features and functionality.
- Translate design specifications into functional games, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Write, maintain, and optimize game code, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and bugs.
- Conducted code reviews and mentored junior developers to uphold code quality and best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new Unity features, integrating them into projects as appropriate.
- Provide technical support and documentation for game features and functionalities.
- Participate in the full game development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Unity and Unity3D development.
- Proficiency in C# and a strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Experience with 3D modeling, animation, and game physics.
- Familiarity with mobile and console game development processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Previous experience in a gaming studio is highly desirable.
Location
- Candidates must be willing to relocate to Kochi or Operate in Hybrid Mode.
