Furniture Designer

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Furniture Designer at Furma Home located in Jaipur. As a Furniture Designer, you will be responsible for designing and creating innovative and functional furniture pieces. You will collaborate with a team of designers and craftsmen to develop new concepts, create technical drawings, select materials, and oversee the production process. Your creativity and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our brand.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Furniture Designer or related role
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD or SketchUp
• Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and construction techniques
• Excellent artistic and design skills
• Ability to create detailed technical drawings and specifications
• Good understanding of ergonomics, aesthetics, and functionality
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or a related field
• Portfolio of previous furniture design work
