Shramjivi Janata Sahayyak Mandal (SJSM) is an NGO dedicated to rural development and uplifting socially and economically backward communities in the remote Western Ghat region, including Satara and Raigad district of Maharashtra. Founded in 1977 by Mr. Balasaheb Kolekar, the organization focuses on providing support to communities facing challenges like displacement, lack of basic facilities, and social exclusion.

Role Description

This is a part time, work from home role for a Fundraising Intern at Shramjivi Janata Sahayyak Mandal located in Satara. The Fundraising Intern will be responsible for assisting in fundraising activities, donor communication, event planning, and grant writing. The role involves working closely with the team to support the organization's mission and fundraising goals.

Qualifications

• Fundraising, Donor Communication, and Grant Writing skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Event planning and coordination experience
• Passion for social impact and community development
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of rural development issues is a plus
