We are looking for a candidate with experience in wealth advisory and wealth management (client-facing) and a killer sales instinct to join Klub and spearhead our fundraising efforts for our in-house credit funds.
Aceler8, our family of funds, is tailor-made for Asia s Digital SMEs through heavy usage of technology at all stages of the investment process. Our first fund is fully raised and deployed. We are now setting up new funds in India and UAE respectively.
This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-career professional seeking to accelerate their career growth by leading fundraising for multiple funds across multiple geographies, and seeing end-to-end fundraising of multiple funds. You will get to work directly with pioneers in the debt fund industry in India and UAE.
Responsibilities
- Raise capital from LPs for our in-house credit funds across markets (India, UAE and future funds in other countries)
- Build a pipeline and initiate outreach to potential investors
- Pitch to potential investors and manage the fundraising lifecycle end to end: doing introductory calls, responding to data requests, and taking leads to closure.
- Work with internal stakeholders to respond to LP/potential data requests, collate customised data rooms
- Benchmark fundraising pitches with peers in the market and give product/market guidance to internal teams
- Build synergies with Aceler8 LPs and support the CEO and Head, CorpDev in fund-raising across debt, equity, and other strategic priorities for the broader Klub umbrella
Expectations
- 5+ years of work experience in wealth management in client-facing or relationship management roles only [Note: This will not be the right role for research-oriented candidates in wealth management.]
- Killer sales mindset with the ability to form deep relationships with investors (e.g. HNIs, family offices, wealth advisors, etc.)
- Existing network of high-quality relationships
- Experience in identifying potential investor leads, reaching out to them and securing a first conversation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including summarising complex information (i.e. fund specific info) for readers who are short on time.
- Ability to create market-facing PowerPoint and Excel files that other stakeholders can easily understand.
