Job description - Associate - Fundraising and Partnerships
Rocket Learning is a high-growth ed-tech non-profit with the mission of catalyzing early childhood education and community engagement in India. Title: Associate - Fundraising and Partnerships
Experience: 1-2 Years
Location -Hybrid - preferred locations - Delhi and Bangalore
Overview: We are currently looking for an Associate - Fundraising and Partnerships to support the Fundraising and Partnerships Lead and the Co-founders. The candidate will be expected to assist in establishing, growing, and leading partnerships with key investors and stakeholders at a state, national, and global level.
Key Results
- Assist in identifying and engaging in funding and partnership opportunities with international donors, NGOs, and government partners.
- Support relationship management with key ecosystem partners, maintaining excellent relationships, and identifying opportunities for mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Contribute to building and sustaining strong relationships and partnerships with key
government and civil society officials, stakeholders, and advocates.
- Support the entire team in seeing the value and their role in fundraising and partnerships.
Key Activities
- Assist in the investor partnerships value chain (ranging across developing special initiatives with different investors, monitoring implementation, conducting analysis, and preparing reports to manage relationships with the investors).
- Support the development of strategic partnerships and collaborations with governments and innovative organizations in the education space to develop cutting-edge solutions.
- Manage communications and relationships with Board members, advisors, impact funds, foundations, HNIs, and CSR organizations.
- Help develop, implement, and maintain a detailed fundraising strategy pipeline and plan to grow and supplement current revenue streams.
- Actively identify and nurture potential donors and funding windows through landscape mapping, networking, and relationship building.
- Build and maintain relationships with previous and potential funding partners and work with them to develop proposals and budgets that align with both our strategy and that of the funder.
- Research investors and understand critical requirements for each investor.
- Represent Rocket Learning at national and international events and symposia to create greater visibility and a partnerships and advocacy pipeline.
- Assist in designing and conducting investor events to develop relationships with new partners and leverage the national focus on foundational skills.
- Perform any other activities required to generate funds and develop partnerships to enable the exponential expansion of Rocket Learning.

Critical Factors for Success
- Seamless communication with the Lead, co-founders, team, and colleagues.
- Education qualification: Minimum graduate with 1-2 years of work experience.
- Demonstrating successful fund-raising/partnership e orts in the ECCE space is desirable
- Close alignment with Rocket Learning's core values and principles.
