Role Overview: The Fundraise Manager will play a pivotal role in our growth strategy by connecting with venture capitalists (VCs) and managing the end-to-end funding process. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in fundraising, exceptional communication skills, and a keen understanding of financial models and pitch decks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Fundraising Planning:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with the companys growth objectives.
- Identify and prioritize potential VC partners, angel investors, and other funding sources.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors and stakeholders.
- Pitch Deck and Financial Model Management:
- Lead the creation, refinement, and presentation of pitch decks tailored to different investor audiences.
- Oversee the development and presentation of financial models, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary data and insights for effective pitch materials.
- Investor Relations:
- Engage with VCs, investors, and other funding partners to present the companys vision, value proposition, and growth potential.
- Coordinate and manage investor meetings, roadshows, and presentations.
- Address investor queries and provide timely updates on company performance and milestones.
- Funding Process Management:
- Manage the end-to-end funding process, including due diligence, term sheet negotiations, and closing.
- Work closely with legal, financial, and compliance teams to ensure all aspects of the funding process are handled effectively.
- Track and report on fundraising progress, goals, and key metrics.
- Market and Industry Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to inform fundraising strategies.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on market research and investor feedback.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in fundraising, venture capital, or investment banking, preferably within the healthtech or technology sector.
- Strong understanding of pitch deck creation, financial modeling, and investor relations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated track record of successful funding rounds and investor engagement.
