Job Summary
As a Fund Servicing Associate within our IBOR team, you will be providing a single, accurate investment portfolio that serves as the foundation for investment activities and offers dynamic views of positions for front-office functions. Beyond being a data repository, you will ensure that IBOR acts as a processing engine that reflects all types of business events impacting the investment portfolio, efficiently processing changes from any source as they occur
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the Global/Regional IBOR team and act as the client-facing escalation point.
- Participate in, represent, and implement the ongoing IMOS global strategy as required.
- Oversee and manage daily operational activities essential for constructing and delivering client reporting (IBOR).
- Serve as a communication source for escalating issues, providing service updates, and sharing progress updates with clients and internal partners.
- Seek opportunities and take ownership of initiatives to enhance service levels and efficiency for J.P. Morgan and the client.
- Maintain robust standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies, and guidelines to meet corporate risk and control standards.
- Own or actively participate in key projects or tasks to ensure the IMOS global strategy is consistently maintained.
- Interact with internal/external auditors as the main point of contact to drive timely completion of audits with satisfactory ratings.
- Build strong, interactive relationships with global operations partners, client service, and other teams, including Front Office, Performance & Risk, and Compliance.
- Collaborate with management to achieve 100% timeliness and accuracy, ensuring seamless integration in a follow the sun model.
- Communicate effectively across multiple levels of the organization.
Required Qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Demonstrate leadership experience in process, risk, and control within Investment Operations, including change management
- Exhibit excellent client-facing skills and communication style, comfortable engaging with key clients and Manage a team of 3 to 5 FTE effectively.
- Lead teams across multiple locations with proven ability.
- Possess extensive understanding of OTC instruments, exchange-traded derivatives, fixed income securities, equity products, and other financial instruments.
- Maintain a track record of successfully meeting deadlines with accountability and responsibility for independent workload.
- Have experience in Investment Operations, including trades, cash, and reconciliations.
- Demonstrate experience in reconciliations and transaction lifecycle management.
