About the Team & Business Line:n

Your Role:n
- Setup inbound/outbound file routing jobs in response to requests from internal and external business and technical teamsn
- Setup all relevant monitoring jobs, alerts and notifications to the appropriate distribution lists in accordance with the requirements and appropriate target audience.n
- Liaise with others groups where necessary to ensure all security measures are integrated in all delivery jobs executed by the team.n
- Work with brokers, vendors and investment managers to setup FTP accounts and establish connectivity.n
- Use key file delivery tools and dashboards to proactively identify failed and missing files and work with brokers, vendors and clients to address issues in a timely manner.n
- Respond to file alerts sent to the Data Management and ensure effective action is taken to address the issue highlighted by the alerts.n
- Keep user community updated and manage their expectations by proactively providing regular updates about file issues, delays and ETAs.n
- Escalate issues or concerns to manager with clean recommendations and solutions.n
- Formulate ad-hoc solutions and workarounds to facilitate file movement and delivery in the short term.n
- Support management in identifying, analyzing and implementing process and system improvement initiatives.n
- Identify and drive initiatives aimed at reducing file delivery manual work, improving quality of feeds and reducing errors and alerts.n
- Work with other connectivity group to align overall process and simplify end-to-end experience for user community.n
- Actively engage and keep up to date Data Management policies, trends and emerging themes and share information with the rest of the team.n
- Perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

About You:n
- 3+ years MS SQL Server Administration experience requiredn
- Previous exposure in the financial services industry or as a consultant to the financial servicesn
- Experience in an operational role is highly desirable.n
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.n
- Experience in querying databases through use of SQL expert level requiredn
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related disciplinen
- Demonstrated ability to work with both internal and external clients, vendors and brokers as well as developing good working relationships with each of these groups.n
- Ability to explain difficult concepts to users in terms that they can easily understand. This should include developers, technical users and non-technical users.n
- Good organizational skills and have the ability to work on several work items simultaneously.n
