We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Functional Testing Lead to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile and API functional testing, with mandatory experience in banking and fintech domains, and a proven track record of leading testing projects to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the functional testing efforts for mobile and API projects.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Execute functional testing to ensure the quality and functionality of mobile applications and APIs.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues to resolution.
- Collaborate with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure test coverage and product quality.
- Mentor and guide junior testers, providing technical expertise and support.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in mobile and API testing.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in functional testing, with a focus on mobile and API testing.
- Mandatory experience in BFSI or fintech domains.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with mobile testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Appium, Espresso, XCUITest).
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, RestAssured).
- Proficient in writing clear and concise test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
