Functional Test Lead Engineer shall be responsible to play critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our medical devices. Need to lead a team of testers and work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans, identify defects, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Expertise in both manual and automated testing methodologies will be essential in driving the success of product development efforts.

Analyze functional requirements and design documents to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Execute functional tests on medical device software and hardware components, including user interface, data processing, and device interaction.

Perform verification and validation activities to ensure that the medical device meets user needs and intended use.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, hardware engineers, quality assurance professionals, and regulatory affairs specialists, to address issues and ensure product quality.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and guidelines, such as FDA regulations, ISO standards, and industry-specific requirements.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of testing activities, including test plans, test cases, test results, and compliance documentation.

The candidate will be responsible for verification of On-Prem software solutions, main responsibilities will be to focus on functional and automation testing.

Who You Are

The Validation/Verification Engineer (Test Lead Engineer) needs formal education within:

Graduate/Postgraduate in any Engineering.

The Validation/Verification Engineer need competence

• 8 to 10 years of Experience as Test engineer/Test LeadFamiliarity with regulatory standards and guidelines for medical devices, such as FDA regulations (e.g., IEC 62304 - Life cycle of medical device software) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
• Experience with test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, Java/Python) is a plus. Ability to write automation scripts.
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) or quality management (e.g., ASQ) is preferred.Proficiency in performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or NeoLoad is a plus.Strong and proven technical and communication skills ,Strong cost awareness
