Position: QA FUNCTIONAL TESTER (Night shift)

Duration: Fulltime Position

Job Type: Full Time Employment

Location: Manyata Tech Park Bengaluru, Karnataka (Hybrid Work)

Responsibilities:

Design and Execution of Test Plans: Develop detailed test plans specifying the objectives, strategies, scope, and schedule to ensure comprehensive coverage of functional testing for the product suite.

Test Case Creation and Management: Create, review, and periodically update test scenarios and cases to accurately reflect and address the evolving functional requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage across all product features.

Functional Testing Execution: Perform thorough functional testing to validate that the application correctly across target datastores (RDBMS like Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL; NoSQL like MongoDB; file stores like SharePoint; Salesforce, etc.)

Collaboration with Development and Product Teams: Work closely with the development and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure the testability of new features and provide feedback.

Test Environment Management: Set up and manage test environments, including the configuration of necessary virtual machines (VMs) and databases, to mimic production environments for accurate testing. Test Data Generation and Management: Generate, manage, and sanitize test data sets for functional testing, ensuring they cover all data complexities and scenarios across the supported datastores.

Bug Tracking and Reporting: Efficiently use tools like JIRA to track, document, and report bugs and issues discovered during testing, facilitating effective communication and collaboration with the development team for their resolution.

Continuous Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve testing processes, methodologies, and tool utilization to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and coverage of testing activities.

Mandatory Skills

• 8 to 10 years of QA Functional testing Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Must have extensive Functional, Manual testing experience
• Strong hands on experience with Functional Testing, Regression, UAT, etc.
