Full time Fashion Faculty

We are seeking a dynamic and well-groomed Fashion Design Faculty member with a passion for teaching and a minimum of 1+ years of teaching experience in the field of Fashion Design. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Fashion Design and demonstrate a strong commitment to fostering a creative and collaborative learning environment.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Instruction & Curriculum Development:

Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Fashion Design, including but not limited to, apparel design, textile science, fashion illustration, pattern making, and garment construction.

Develop and update curriculum to reflect current trends and technologies in the fashion industry.

Utilize a variety of teaching methods and tools to engage students and enhance learning outcomes.

Supervise student projects, internships, and research activities.

• Student Engagement & Support:

Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.

Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

Encourage student participation in fashion shows, competitions, and industry events.

• Professional Development & Industry Engagement:

Stay updated with the latest developments and innovations in the fashion industry.

Establish and maintain relationships with industry professionals and organizations.

Participate in professional development opportunities and industry conferences.

• Administrative Duties:

Contribute to departmental goals and initiatives.

Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and other administrative activities as required.

Assist in the recruitment and retention of students.

• Qualifications:

• Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fashion Design

• Experience:

Minimum of 1+ years of teaching experience in Fashion Design.

Professional experience in the fashion industry is highly desirable.

• Skills & Attributes:

Strong knowledge of fashion design principles, techniques, and industry standards.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to inspire and motivate students.

Proficiency in fashion design software and tools

Strong organizational and time management skills.
