Full-Stack Sr. Developer (Microsoft Azure)

Backend developer experienced in developing scalable and reliable server-side applications in the Microsoft Azure cloud environment. Should have in-depth knowledge of backend programming languages and experience utilizing various Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). He/she is responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side of our web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. A part of this role is also to setup and maintain the ingestion pipeline to manage the configuration data, rules for our Track detection Safety systems and sensors, etc.

Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain scalable and reliable backend services.

· Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side components.

· Implement robust set of services, build reusable code libraries and APIs to power the web application.

· Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

· Implement security measures, and data protection solutions.

· Design and implement data models, data storage solutions and working with Azure SQL or Cosmos DB..

· Integrate Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service and Azure API Management.

· Work with DevOps tools like GitLab for CI/CD processes.

· Troubleshoot and debug applications.

Tech Stack Requirements

• Cloud Services: Experience with Microsoft Azure in Focus (AWS, or Google is plus but not necessary).
• Languages: Proficiency in Java, SpringBoot, Kotlin, Angular, Python.
• Azure Services: Strong experience with Azure Kubernetes Service, Storage, Database solutions and Azure Monitor.
• Database Technology: Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases e.g. Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, or other cloud-based database solutions.
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git
• Containerization and Orchestration: Knowledge of Docker, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with GitLab or similar tools.
• Testing: Experience with unit, integration and load testing.
• Development experience in RESTful APIs and in their integration.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills - ability to work collaboratively in an agile team environment.
• Have more than 6+ years full-time experience as a Backend Developer in JAVA or Software Architect in web-based solutions.
• B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/M.E in Computers or related engineering.

Additional Skills (Optional):

Certifications: Certifications like the Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, or similar credentials are highly desirable.

Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.
