Job Brief
We are seeking a talented and experienced Full Stack Platform Engineer or Senior DevOps Engineer Consultant with a strong background in Data Engineering, Java Services, UI Services, and L3 Support.
If you have a passion for building robust software solutions using the latest cloud and data technologies, this role is for you. You'll work with a dynamic team to design, develop, and support solutions leveraging Azure, Databricks, Azure Kubernetes, and PySpark.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand software requirements.
- Design and develop software solutions using Azure services, Databricks, Azure Kubernetes, Microservices, and PySpark.
- Build and maintain data pipelines using PySpark, ensuring high data quality and reliability.
- Optimize software performance, ensuring scalability and robustness of solutions.
- Troubleshoot software issues, providing L3 support for operational challenges.
- Stay current with emerging technology trends and tools in software engineering.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Contribute to improving software development processes and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (equivalent work experience will be considered).
- Strong experience with Azure cloud services, Databricks, and Azure Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in building and deploying microservices architecture.
- Solid understanding and experience with data pipelines using PySpark.
- Hands-on experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Spark.
- Strong programming skills in Python, with knowledge of Java and/or JavaScript.
- Experience with Java Services, UI Services, and L3 Support.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
