Job Brief
We are seeking a talented and experienced Full Stack Platform Engineer or Senior DevOps Engineer Consultant with a strong background in Data Engineering, Java Services, UI Services, and L3 Support.
If you have a passion for building robust software solutions using the latest cloud and data technologies, this role is for you. You'll work with a dynamic team to design, develop, and support solutions leveraging Azure, Databricks, Azure Kubernetes, and PySpark.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand software requirements.
Design and develop software solutions using Azure services, Databricks, Azure Kubernetes, Microservices, and PySpark.
Build and maintain data pipelines using PySpark, ensuring high data quality and reliability.
Optimize software performance, ensuring scalability and robustness of solutions.
Troubleshoot software issues, providing L3 support for operational challenges.
Stay current with emerging technology trends and tools in software engineering.
Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Contribute to improving software development processes and best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (equivalent work experience will be considered).
Strong experience with Azure cloud services, Databricks, and Azure Kubernetes.
Proficiency in building and deploying microservices architecture.
Solid understanding and experience with data pipelines using PySpark.
Hands-on experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Spark.
Strong programming skills in Python, with knowledge of Java and/or JavaScript.
Experience with Java Services, UI Services, and L3 Support.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
