Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Full Stack Engineer located in Navi Mumbai. As a Full Stack Engineer at WebMD, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end web development, software development, and full-stack development. You will use your skills in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to create visually appealing and user-friendly web applications.

Position Requirements:

Over 4+ years of hands-on experience in full stack development, with a strong emphasis on PHP and any other server side language proficiency like Node.JS.

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

Deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles, particularly within the PHP ecosystem.

Proficient in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and expertise in at least one SPA framework (React, Angular, Svelte, etc.).

Advanced knowledge of complex SQL queries and adept at designing robust database schemas, with a focus on PostgreSQL.

Familiarity with MVC frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or Lumen.

Experience with server-side technologies like Redis, Memcache, RabbitMQ, Elastic Search, and Kafka.

Demonstrated ability to consume and develop RESTful web services.

Proactive problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for identifying and addressing functional or performance-related issues.

Meticulous attention to detail in all development and design tasks.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

Enthusiastic about driving excellence, fostering creativity, and promoting collaborative teamwork.

Understanding of microservices architecture principles.

Experience with automated testing frameworks like Cypress, PlayWright

Role & Responsibilities:

Lead the design, estimation, and implementation of new features while diagnosing and resolving issues within the existing codebase.

Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to shape design decisions and architectural strategies.

Actively engage in software design discussions, contributing insights and innovative solutions.

Participate in sprint planning and other project ceremonies to align efforts and ensure project success.

Architect and optimize existing applications to handle anticipated increases in demand.

Foster a collaborative team environment to drive project outcomes.
