With a strong AI background, our previous company Maluuba developed the Siri competitor for Samsung, LG, Tesla, and General Motors, which was acquired by Microsoft in 2017 for $140M.
We are focused on digitizing shopping for the entire retail industry and have achieved remarkable feats in this arena.
The Position
As a Front-End Developer, you will contribute to the vertical expansion of our engineering efforts by building advanced tools and services. Your responsibilities will range from creating internal services to developing large-scale crawling and data processing systems.
You will collaborate with an established team and guide them through the entire software development lifecycle, making a significant impact on the future of retail technology.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software
- Manage continuous delivery of Adeptmind's products
- Create client-side code for web-based applications, develop prototypes, and build high-performance, extensible data processing systems
- Integrate machine learning algorithms for intelligent search, recommendation, and navigation
- Lead the development of internal tools and services, managing individual project priorities and deadlines
- Use and contribute to the internal build and deployment system
Your Qualifications
- BSc degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- 2-4 years of experience with client-side web technologies
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), and at least one other programming language such as Java, C/C++, C#, Objective C, Python, JavaScript, or Go
- Familiarity with React, Redux, and creating reusable components in React
- Experience in writing tests for React applications (unit, integration, and end-to-end)
- Proficiency in CSS3 and SCSS, with experience in CSS-in-JS as a plus
Nice to have
- Experience with publishing packages to NPM
- Managed a mono-repository
- Familiarity with TypeScript
- Created and modified custom build processes using Node.js and Webpack
