The Role: Web Developer

The Team: They design, develop, and host data-rich, full-featured, high-traffic web and mobile applications for financial institutions, brokerages, and media clients. They leverage a combination of their mature .NET stack along with the latest and greatest the industry has to offer to deliver some of the fastest and most utilized applications in the

Position summary

Collaborate closely with small, cross-functional teams of designers, developers, engineers, and stakeholders

to build new features and applications

Design and implement overall application development strategy

Participate in the full development lifecycle, including estimation, development, and deployment

Stay up to date on the latest development practices and strategies

Research, evaluate, and implement tools and procedures that provide strategic improvements to their

products and process

Take direction, go beyond what is asked, and constantly challenge yourself

Duties & accountabilities

5-7 years + of professional development experience

Strong skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, , and jQuery

Ability to develop full-scale applications with C# .NET and MVC

Good to have familiarity with MV* frameworks such as AngularJS or React

Familiarity with Restful APIs, Less, Sass, GIT, SVN, and continuous integration tools

Experience and comfort with techniques for building high performance applications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a positive attitude

Demonstrated critical thinking, decision making, and problem solving skills

Team player with strong analytical, problem solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills

Highly productive, and perpetually aware of the next thing to work on
