Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop Fuzia.AI, from concept to launch, which will be a community platform integrating AI and latest tools.
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, efficient code.
- Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Manage the full development cycle, including both front-end and back-end development.
- Integrate ML and AI capabilities into the community-based website.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is often preferred.
- Bootcamps and Certifications: Completing coding bootcamps or obtaining certifications specific to React.js can also be beneficial.
Required/Must-Have Skills
- JavaScript Proficiency: Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
- React.js Expertise: Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles, with experience in popular React.js workflows.
- Data Structures: Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js).
- Isomorphic React: Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus.
- APIs: Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
- Authorization Mechanisms: Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
- Front-End Build Tools: Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
- Development Tools: Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- Business and Technical Translation: Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- Optimization: A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
- Version Control: Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git/SVN.
- Backend Knowledge: Experience with back-end technologies and frameworks.
- Leadership: Proven leadership experience in a development environment.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence is a plus.
- Experience in developing community platforms or SaaS products.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in developing products
